Welcomes Back the NRHA European Affiliate Championships
Host to the 2010-2011 editions of the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) European Affiliate Championships, CS Ranch, Givrins, Switzerland, welcomes the prestigious event back for 2022 and 2023.
Givrins, June 22—The state-of-the-art CS Ranch, owned by Corinna Schumacher and located in the beautiful area of Givrins, on Lake Leman, is proud to announce the upcoming SVAG CS Classic NRHA European Affiliate Championships.
“We are honored by the trust placed in us and we will put all our energy into this new challenge,” said Schumacher, a horse-lover as well as keen and successful non pro competitor with an NRHA Intermediate Non Pro Championship to her name. After a two-year standstill, the energy has translated into close to 200 horses entered with riders representing 15 nations!
Qualified riders will be vying for the following NRHA European Affiliate Championship finals:
- $18,000-Added Open
- $5 000-added intermediate Open
- $2 000-Added Limited Open
- $2 000-Added Rookie Professional
- $15 000-Added Non Pro
- $4 000-Added Intermediate Non Pro.

In the above classes, the Champions will win a Lawson trophy, the Champion buckle and a saddle offered by NRHA. Reserve Champions will receive a Morrison trophy and a pair of spurs, while third place will be offered a plaque and a pair of stirrups.
For the following, Champions will receive a Morrison trophy, the Champion buckle and a saddle. Reserve Champions will be awarded a Morgan trophy and spurs, with third placed combinations receiving a Plaque and a pair of stirrups:
- $1 500-Added Limited Non Pro.
- $200-Added Rookie Level 1.
- $100-Added Youth 13 & Under.
- $100-Added Youth 14 – 18.
Youth riders will also have a chance to compete in the exciting Youth Team Tournament: buckles offered by NRHA will be awarded to the winning team as well as medals to the top eight teams.
Offering a place for all, the SVAG CS Classic 2022 will also host a full slate of NRHA Ancillary classes, the Swiss Reining Championship Finals, and the World Para Reining Championship.
