2023 World Reining Championship: Introducing the Young and Junior Riders

Young and Junior Riders are ready to raise the dust in the World Reining Championships 2023

Givrins, July 4 — Provided by Simona Diale — The need for international team and individual competition was much felt by the reining community worldwide at all levels. A group of passionate enthusiasts got together and formed World Reining hoping to satisfy this need. Corinna Schumacher and the CS Ranch team gave their availability to host and organize the NRHA-approved World Reining Championship event with Euro 150.000 offered in prize money, and the response was huge.

Having made their way to the first edition of the World Reining Championship in one of Europe’s biggest and most modern private facilities located in Givrins, Switzerland, are riders who all went through a selection procedure in order to proudly represent 13 countries. With a total of 123 combinations and horses aged 5 and up, these athletes are now ready to compete along with para equestrians vying for the medals in the World Para Reining Championship 2023 held concurrently.

On Wednesday, July 5, the renowned festive CS Ranch draw parties will determine the order of go for all categories and Para Reining Team Competition will officially open the CS arena gates on Thursday, July 6, followed by Amateur Senior and Open Senior team competition.

Focus on youth has always been paramount for CS Ranch and an amazing group of Young

and Junior Riders from Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, and Switzerland will be riding for the medals in the Team Competition on Friday, July 7, and for medals and CS custom-made trophies in the individual — which will see the top 20 placed duos — on Saturday, July 8.
